MPSV Atlantic Discovery is a world renowned UT705 designed vessel.

With over 700M2 of deck, a 40 ton A frame, tow winch and accommodation for over 50, this vessel suits a range of offshore and subsea tasks from offshore supply to subsea boulder clearance and ROV operations.

DP II Offshore Construction Support Vessel

The Atlantic Discovery is the latest addition to the Castle Ship Technical Management Ltd fleet. After operating as a PSV for many years the Atlantic Discovery has undergone a major conversion to allow it to operate as a Multi Purpose Support Vessel. The vessel is capable of operating the I-GRAB in a number of tasks such as Boulder removal, UXO Survey and Clearance. It is also capable of Geotechnical and Geophysical surveys, Walk-to-Work, Cable Lay and recovery.

The Atlantic Discovery has the latest state of the art Kongsberg DP II system which means that the vessel will be able to hold position in the most critical and demanding situations. Working with the twin bow tunnel and twin stern tunnel thrusters, along with the two CP main propellers the vessel has 6,600 hp on offer at any time. Ideal for subsea operations.
